Hello! Let's set up your Texty.
You need your phone and your WiFi password. About 10 minutes.
- 1Plug it inUSB-C cable into the back of the dock, other end into a USB charger.
- 2Paper in, printer onRoll in, loose end towards the slot, lid closed. Hold the printer's power button for 2 s.
- 3Scan the WiFi codeTexty prints a setup slip. Scan its QR code with your phone camera and join.
- 4Pick your home WiFiOn the page that opens (2.4 GHz WiFi). No page? Open 192.168.4.1
- 5Make it yoursScan the second QR code and type your name. Texty prints “Welcome”.
- 6Invite friendsAdd Texty to your home screen, turn on notifications, share an invite.

prints a login code for you
Hold 10 s
reset, starts setup again
Stuck?
- No slip? Close the printer's own phone app, switch the printer off and on, tap the heart.
- Wrong WiFi? Use 2.4 GHz WiFi and check the password. Just try again.
- Moved house? After 5 minutes Texty prints a new WiFi code.
- Out of paper? New roll in, lid closed. Nothing is lost: waiting notes print by themselves.
- Quiet at night? Set quiet hours in Settings, and notes wait until morning.
