PNG with a transparent background works best. The image never leaves your device.

"Cut to shape" follows the outline of the transparent PNG plus the border (a photo without transparency is cut as a rectangle). It stays inside the sticker size.
The face is drawn for 78 × 32 mm and scaled to fit, anchored at the bottom centre, so the mouth always stays on the slot.

Cut to the outline with a transparent background, for Cricut Print Then Cut. Upload it as a "Print Then Cut image" and set the width to 78 mm.
